Your body is your first instrument.

Athletes train on purpose. Creatives often wait until pain or fatigue forces the issue. Body as Instrument is a simple daily ritual to keep you clear, mobile, and ready—on stage, on camera, in studio, or at your desk.

Built by a touring artist and coach, it prioritizes nervous-system steadiness, fine-motor control, and sustainable mobility over maximal effort.

Use it anywhere

  • Backstage or before a recording → 15 minutes, done.
  • Airport lounge or hotel room → gentle reset.
  • Desk-bound brain fog → light activation to focus.
  • Long travel days → de-cramp fast without a mat.

Designed for creatives

  • Respects fine-motor demands (hands, breath, voice).
  • Standing start—easy from bed, green room, or office.
  • Pairs with any training you already do.
  • No floor space or gear required.

What’s inside

  • Follow-Along Ritual Video (15–18 min): press play and move with me.
  • Technique Breakdowns: short clips to learn each drill at your pace.
  • Context Mini-Flows: Backstage / Hotel / Airport / Desk—plug & play.
  • Daily Guide: exactly how to use this in 10–15 minutes.

What artists say

“A must… movements from different backgrounds made the class meaningful and inspiring.” — Sebastien H.

“I’ve been doing these for months. It centers my body and mind and gets my day started.” — Al Nalder.

Why it works

I’m T.L. Mazumdar—artist, educator, and certified trainer. After recovering from teen obesity and spending 25+ years on stages and in studios, I built a ritual that keeps creatives ready: steady nervous system, mobile joints, focused mind.

How to use it

  • Before practice, rehearsal, recording, or performance.
  • As a daily reset to maintain baseline conditioning.
  • Layer onto any strength/cardio/yoga routine.

FAQ
Will this program  help me lose weight?
This is not a weight loss program. And while a deeper connection with your body is the first step to optimum weight, there are other programs better suited for that.
Will this increase my strength?
While not a 'strength program' per se, this program is designed to improve your overall mobility. That does include the improved usage of your muscles, and hence some improvement in strength.
Will this improve my cardio?
Yes. Some of these drills have roots in Yoga and Chi-Gong, both of which help stabilise the cardio vascular and nervous system.
That being said, this is not a quintessential 'cardio program' either.

So what will this program help me do?
Remember how some days your body doesn't respond the way you want to on your instrument?
This program aims to make those occasions less frequent with time. And help you get ready for a performance.
Look at it as warming up without your instrument.
It will also help you improve overall control over your body and feel good

Is this 'Yoga'?

No. Unlike most Yoga routines, this program starts standing up! Which I find much easier to do straight out of bed. For those of you who already practise a more intense workout routine  I also use it as a pre-workout program. And/or a post-workout cool-down.

Can I train with you 1 on 1 ?
Absolutely. I have been training and coaching  professional musicians for a few years now. Make enquiries here.

Can I get a refund if this doesn't work for me?
Yes. We have no questions asked 14-day refund policy if you are not satisfied with this course.
