The 1:1 Container

A private container for artists who know they're capable of more.

Three months. Four clients at a time. Direct work with T.L. Mazumdar on the patterns underneath the career — the ones most creatives were never taught to see.

The problem isn't usually the one you think it is.

Most artists who reach out are not stuck because they lack talent, work ethic, or a strategy document. They are stuck because the architecture of their creative life was built on top of an identity they never fully examined.

The strategies that should work, don't. The momentum that should compound, doesn't. The clarity that should arrive after the next milestone keeps receding by one more milestone.

There is a reason for this. It is rarely the reason on the surface.

How the work is structured.

Three months of weekly one-on-one sessions. Text support between sessions when something needs to be thought through in real time. No group calls, no recorded modules to catch up on, no community tier you have to navigate. The container is private and the attention is undivided.

The work moves between two layers. The inner layer addresses identity, the relationship with the work, and the patterns that have quietly been organising your decisions. The outer layer addresses positioning, structure, and the practical architecture of a creative career that can hold weight over time.

By the end of three months, the goal is not a list of things you completed. The goal is a recyclable system for navigating creative life — one that holds up regardless of what the industry does next.

What tends to shift.

Not promises. Patterns observed across the people who have done this work.

Clarity on who you actually are as an artist, and what you actually want from your creative life.

An understanding of what has really been in the way. Not the surface reasons. The underlying patterns.

A concrete direction for your practice that holds up under pressure, not only on good days.

A recyclable system for navigating your career regardless of what the industry throws at it next.

The capacity to make decisions from orientation rather than from anxiety.

From people who have done the work.

T.L. has a rare ability to hold space for the actual question underneath the question. The work I did with him changed how I relate to my practice, not just what I do with it.

Katja

I came in with a strategy problem and left understanding it had never been a strategy problem. That clarity has held for me long after our sessions ended.

Tim

The depth of attention is unusual. T.L. listens to what is actually being said, and to what is being avoided. I have a way of working now that I trust.

Frequently asked questions.

A few practical questions that tend to come up before someone applies.

What is the investment?
€3,600 for the full three-month engagement. That is twelve sessions — four per month. Bought individually, twelve sessions would cost significantly more. The container is priced as a package because the work requires continuity to function.
Why three months? Why not just one session or one month?
One session can produce insight. Three months produces change. The arc matters: the first month surfaces what is actually going on underneath the presenting problem. The second month works with it directly. The third month builds the structure that holds after the work ends.
What will I leave with?
You will leave with clarity on who you are as an artist and what has actually been in the way. You will leave with a concrete direction for your practice — and a fully customised, recyclable system built from everything T.L. has developed and distilled across thirty years of professional work, every course, every workshop, every framework he has built. Not a generic toolkit. A system shaped around you specifically, covering creativity, audience connection, PR, collaboration, self-care, identity, and performance where relevant. One you can return to and continue using long after the engagement ends.
What does between-session support look like?
There is ongoing support on topics between sessions at discretion. It is not a hotline — but you are not alone between calls.
Is this right for me if I'm not a musician?
Musicians may benefit especially from certain areas specific to T.L.'s expertise, but artists and creatives of any kind are welcome to apply. Visual artists, performers, and creative professionals across disciplines — the principles are applicable to anyone looking to expand their horizons with an open mind. T.L. works with vocation-agnostic clients and students. The underlying patterns don't discriminate by discipline.
What phase of my career do I need to be in?
You should have been working professionally as an artist or creative — even part-time — for at least four to five years, or hold a degree from a professional arts programme. The work is designed for people who already have a foundation and are ready to examine what is built on top of it.
Do you offer scholarships?
There are no open scholarship spots at this time — with only four slots available, the container operates at full investment. In very specific cases this may be open to discussion. The application is the place to raise it.
Are there payment plans available?
Yes. Payment plan options can be discussed as part of the application conversation.
Is there a refund policy?
There are no refunds. The three-month commitment is a real commitment — on both sides.
What happens after I apply?
If there is a fit, you will hear back within a few days to arrange a conversation. That conversation is real — as much for you to assess the work as it is to assess the fit.
What language do sessions happen in?
English. German is possible on request.
